Discipline-first coaching · Sobriety as a byproduct

Do you want this?

Dream. Decide. Discipline.

I'm David Stubbs. I got sober the hard way — alone — and I built a life on discipline when motivation was gone. I coach people who are done waiting to feel ready. We install a daily high-performance practice: journal, body, fuel, schedule, and honest shadow work. You show up. I stay accessible. We do not waste each other's time.

Honest filter

Not for everyone

If you want inspiration without reps, leave now. Weekly call. Midweek check-ins. Daily journal. Gym and diet locked. Shadow work that stings.

  • You need detox or crisis care right now — I will refer, not enroll.
  • You want a therapist, not a discipline coach.
  • You will not do the journal or check-ins.
  • You are shopping for motivation videos and soft accountability.

The daily system

Install the practice

High performance is a practice — not a weekend high. Consistent daily habits beat speeches. Six levers. Every day.

01

Clarity

Mirror work and a clear picture of who you are becoming — not who you were when the old life ran the day.

02

Energy

Gym and body as non-negotiable discipline. Diet and fuel rules simple enough to keep when willpower is thin.

03

Necessity

Why you must keep the promise today. Dream justified. Excuses not.

04

Output

Time architecture and named day blocks. Kill drift. Make the hours count.

05

Courage

Shadow on paper. Face what you avoid so it stops running the day from the dark.

06

Proof

Want This Journal streak — even on a reset day. Proof beats intention.

Discipline your mind. Own your body.

Operating system

Seven pillars

The day is built on these. Score them weekly. Tell the truth on paper.

Time architecture

Fixed wake, work, home, and sleep anchors. The day starts where you decide — not where the phone opens.

Day restructuring

Replace drift with named blocks. Morning body. Focus work. Home. Wind-down. One killed distraction at a time.

Gym / body

Training as a kept promise. Minimum viable session defined for bad days so the streak does not die.

Diet / fuel

Eating window and simple fuel rules. Prep beats willpower. Log the truth without shame.

Shadow work

Inventory what you avoid. Practice under stress. Witness, not rescue — on the page and in session.

Accessibility

Short reach-outs between sessions. You are not abandoned. I reply direct — no lecture.

Proof on paper

Daily journal. Honest entries over perfect ones. The Want This streak is the receipts.

Why this coach

Why David

Young. Tested. Still in the arena.

Lived the trials Still does the reps No fake testimonials

I got sober the hard way — alone — and rebuilt when motivation was gone. Discipline held when feelings did not. That is the standard I coach to.

I am not selling a celebrity story or a finished pedestal. I am still in the arena: training, journaling, locking the day, facing the shadow. You get a coach who runs the same system he asks of you.

If you want polish without pressure, this is the wrong room. If you want someone who will not waste your money or your week — apply.

Questions

FAQ

Is this therapy or medical care?

No. Real You is coaching and accountability — not therapy, medical care, or detox. If you need clinical help, we will say so and point you there.

Do I have to be in recovery?

Not required. This is discipline-first coaching. Sobriety is often a byproduct of a day that holds — gym, fuel, sleep, shadow, proof on paper — whether or not substance is the main fight.

What does “accessible” actually mean?

Two midweek check-ins by text or short voice. You send energy, kept/drifted, one honest line. I reply same day when possible — short and direct. Not 24/7 crisis on-call.

Why a 3-week introduction before Phase 1?

Start with the $45 1-week self-audit, then Baby Steps at $161/wk (lean 3-week on-ramp) so you prove you show up before Phase 1. Public Phase 1 starts at Honesty $648/mo after earned fit. The full bundle path is confirmed after fit — not a Day-0 bait upgrade.

What if I slip or miss a day?

We define slip vs slide and write a restart card. Shame spirals are not the plan. You restart within 24 hours and tell the truth in the journal.

How fast do you reply to applications?

Within 48 hours. If it is a no, you will know why.

I only emailed for more information — what happens?

That’s step one: choose you. You get a short honest reply within 48 hours — what this is, what it isn’t, and the next step. No brochure dump. Apply (fight for it) when you’re ready. I don’t chase.
